It finds every feed delivery, every push-up, and every stretch where the bunk sat empty — including overnight, when nobody is watching — and shows them on a timeline with the numbers that go with them.

No. FeedBunk AI works with the trail cameras most dairies already have pointed at the bunk. Pull the SD card, upload the images, and the system detects every delivery, push-up, and empty-bunk transition automatically. No dedicated streaming cameras, sensors, or new hardware of any kind.

Feed deliveries with timestamps, push-up events, periods when the bunk was empty, and how those line up with your feeding routine. Your report shows total empty time, the longest empty stretch, deliveries and push-ups per day, how consistent your feeding times are, and whether each delivery got a push-up within two hours.

Time lapse mode — not motion detection — at a 10-second interval, running around the clock. Turn the timestamp overlay ON, set the clock to 24-hour format, and pick the camera’s lowest photo resolution at or above 4MP. Use a 256GB Class 10 card and external power if you can. One to two weeks. That is long enough to show your real routine rather than one unusual day, and a 256GB card at a 10-second interval holds roughly that much. Then pull the card and upload.

No, but it is much faster. The FeedBunk AI Compressor shrinks your photos on your own computer before sending them, so a card that would take hours to upload through a browser finishes in minutes — and it resumes on its own if the connection drops. If you would rather not install anything, the web uploader works from any browser.

No. The FeedBunk AI Compressor app checks for updates and installs them automatically. Install it once and you always have the current version.

Nothing is lost. The app is safe to close mid-job — both compression and uploads resume right where they left off the next time it runs.

Processing starts as soon as your upload finishes, and it runs on our servers — you can close the app or the browser and walk away. We email you when the report is ready, with a button that opens it directly. You can also check any time on your Projects page, where each project shows its current status.

FeedBunk AI is currently in beta and pricing has not been announced yet. Joining the beta is free, and beta farms will hear the details first.

You can correct it yourself, right on the report. Reject an event you do not want counted, re-tag one that was labelled wrong — delivery, push-up, or clean out — and tag which machines on your farm handle feed so future counts improve. The numbers recalculate from your corrections.

A feed bunk score is a 0–5 visual rating of how much feed remains in the bunk before the next delivery. The Penn State scale is the industry standard. Most dairies aim for 0.5–1 daily — empty enough that cows did not go without feed, full enough that wastage is minimal.
