Resume or re-upload a batch

If a project needs something from you, it says so. Look for Resume payment or Reupload on the project in your Projects list, or check the To Resume tile on your dashboard.

The one rule

When you come back to finish an upload, select all the same files you originally chose — not just the ones that failed.

The page tells you this too:

Important: Select All Original Files To reupload successfully, please select all the same files you originally tried to upload. ✓ 4,900 files already uploaded successfully Don’t worry about duplicates - files that were already uploaded successfully will be automatically detected and skipped.

This feels wasteful and it is not. The system compares what you give it against what already landed, skips everything that made it, and sends only what is missing. Picking out the failures by hand is slower and easier to get wrong.

Resume payment

This means your files were chosen but the payment was never completed, so the upload never started. Select the same files again and you will go straight to the payment step.

The button reads Continue to payment rather than Create Project & Upload.

Reupload

This means the upload started but did not finish, or failed verification afterwards. Select the same files again and the missing ones go up.

Common messages

“Upload incomplete: 900/1,000 files processed. Reupload to complete.” Some files did not land. Re-upload with the full original selection.

“You uploaded 1,200 files but only authorized 1,000 files. Please update your payment.” More files than the batch was authorised for. Sort the payment out and the rest will go.

“Missing files: a.jpg, b.jpg and 40 more. Please retry the upload.” Named files did not arrive. Re-upload with the full original selection.

“All files were already uploaded!” Nothing was missing after all — the batch is complete.

“Upload received. We’re finalizing in the background — this can take a few minutes for very large batches.” Not an error. Very large batches take a while to verify. Check the project page shortly.

“Payment is taking a little longer than usual to confirm. We’re still checking — please keep this page open.” Leave the tab open. If it eventually times out, your file selection is not lost — the project will show Resume payment and you can finish it whenever.

If a project failed outright

Open it and click View details. You get the underlying error, the project ID, and a Get Support button that takes you to the support form with the details to hand.

Uploading from the desktop app instead

If a browser upload keeps failing on a big batch, the Compressor is usually the answer rather than trying again. It resumes on its own, survives a closed laptop, and sends far less data. See Upload straight from the app.

Still stuck?

Email [email protected] with your farm name and the project ID from the View details window, or use the Support form inside the app, which attaches those details for you.
