Open Settings from the menu under your username. There are four tabs: Profile, Security, Payments, and Notifications. The app remembers which one you were last on.
Profile Information
The read-only part:
- Username — Your unique identifier on the platform. Cannot be changed.
- Email — Your primary email address. Cannot be changed here.
- User Type — a badge showing Regular User or Admin.
If you need your email address changed, email [email protected]. It is your sign-in identity and where your reports go, so we change it by hand rather than through a form.
Editable Profile Details
Update your additional profile information.
Click any value to edit it in place:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone Number
- Company Name
- Bio (up to 500 characters)
Edited fields are marked as Modified and shown in italics until you save, and Discard Changes and Save Changes appear. Nothing is saved until you click Save Changes — Profile updated successfully!
None of these fields affect how your reports are processed. They are there so we know who we are talking to when you contact support.

One account, one login
The same account signs you in to the website and the Compressor app. There is no separate desktop login, and changing your password changes it for both.
